sperm-carrying tubes (vas deferens) are treated through a single small puncture
in the midline of the scrotum. Each vas deferens is gently withdrawn through
the numbed skin puncture site, then cut and tied. A small section of each
tube is removed. To even further reduce the risk of return of sperm to
the semen, Dr.Golden buries the testicular end of the cut vas deferens into a
separate tissue plane. This has the additional benefit of decreasing the
risk of testicular discomfort during the healing period.
